Course summary

The course provides a logical extension from GCSE Geography, building on skills developed in Years 9,10 and 11. The subject has links with other subject areas: notably biology, mathematics and business. Traditionally, the subject is also linked with English and history. The course helps students to develop decision-making skills and to consider management issues. These are valuable in many future careers and areas of study.
