The Extended Certificate in Business is worth the equivalent of 1 A-Level BTEC Nationals provide a voctional context in which learners can develop their knowledge and skills in the following areas: 1. Effective writing 2. Analytical skills 3. Creative development The Extended Certificate is for learners who are interested in learning about the business sector, studying the purposes of different business, their structure, the effect of the external environment, and how they need to be dynamic and innovative to survive. Learners will gain skills relating to, and an understanding of, how a marketing campaign is developed. Students will learn about the functions of money and understand the importance of managing personal finance, different ways to pay alongside the purpose of accounting.
