Course summary

Business Studies is intended to give students an understanding of the diverse nature of business behaviour, organisation and activity. It enables students to develop a critical understanding of organisations themselves, the markets they serve, and the process of added value. It draws upon a variety of related disciplines and uses them to explain how business decisions are made and why stakeholders behave in the way they do. Students are encouraged to follow business developments and think critically about contemporary business issues. Most of the assessment material is based on real life situations.
