A Level Chemistry

Course summary

Chemistry at A Level is a rich, interactive course that helps students develop theoretical and practical skills designed to provide a solid grounding for studying Chemistry or subjects requiring Chemistry including Medicine at university. Students will be challenged to gain technical skills that help them to analyse experimental data and explore both traditional and modern theoretical concepts. The two-year course is comprised around three themes, physical, organic and inorganic chemistry. You will study wide ranging ideas including Periodicity through to the analysis of organic molecules, with context lead real world applications being explored.
