Course summary

Students experience all three main musical disciplines through the Eduqas Music course, which covers composing, performing and listening with understanding, to provide an excellent basis for lifelong learning and for higher education courses in music. Students will develop performance skills (solo and/or ensemble), compose music and develop their knowledge and understanding of musical elements, contexts and language.You will build on your aural and analytical skills by studying one compulsory area of study and choosing two optional, from Rock and Pop, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Into the 20th Century, including three set works for detailed study
