Performing Arts

Course summary

Students will complete a series of practical and written tasks which take a unit-by -unit approach throughout the course. Set in a work-related scenario, they will complete assignments which are marked internally and also externally moderated as well as external examinations at key times in the course. The extended diploma will offer students the opportunity to explore a range of specialisms throughout performing arts, helping them to establish a core foundation of knowledge that will support their learning and allow them to develop their passion for the arts. They will develop their skills, in both a practical and academic sense, putting these into practice throughout the course and through enrichment opportunities: giving them the confidence they will need to step into their future.
