Assessment

Work is externally assessed by OCR in a terminal exam in the second year. This compromises two papers of 2 hours and 30 minutes and both are worth 40% per paper. There is a coursework element which consists of two written pieces- an independent project and an academic poster which is started at the end of the first year and completed throughout the second year. The two exam papers combined are worth 80% and the coursework is worth 20%.
