Course summary

During this the 2 years you are on the course, you will study a wide range of subjects including: Wider Context Child Development Supporting Education Observation and Assessment Safeguarding Health and Safety and Wellbeing Reflective Practice Children’s Behaviour Equality and Diversity Working with Parents, Families and Carers Special Educational Needs and Disability Working with Others English as an Additional Language During this course you will study in college three days a week and attend an industry placement for the other two, which will be supported by our dedicated industry placement team. Industry placements are intended to provide you with the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for skilled employment in the workforce.
