Assessment
A-level Mathematics is a two-year course. The examining board is Edexcel. There are 3 units to be studied across year 12 and 13. These modules are: Pure Mathematics Mechanics Statistics The units will be assessed by three papers at the end of Year 13. Each paper is worth 100 marks. Paper 1 and 2 both examine Pure Mathematics while paper 3, equally, examines the Statistics and Mechanics modules.
