Course summary
This course is an A Level Course. In this course you can expect to learn that Physics is an exciting and innovative subject which underpins many aspects of our lives. Physics empowers you with the ability to communicate complex ideas, search for patterns and step into a wide range of scientific and engineering related careers. Physics provides you with the problem solving and mathematical skills which are invaluable in the wider job market. Physicists continue to use their knowledge in many diverse areas, such as geophysics, healthcare, space exploration and astrophysics, to name but a few. Our students have the opportunity to visit CERN in Switzerland, where they learn first-hand from the physicists working at the cutting edge of atomic research. Past students have taken part in the Physics Olympiad and Engineering Enterprise schemes.
