BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care

Course summary

This programme is an excellent choice for students wishing to study an advanced course in Health and Social Care. It promotes a wide range of academic and vocational skills which employers and providers of Higher Education are looking for. A broad based qualification designed to prepare students for a range of careers in Health and Social Care or for entry into Higher Education. The physical, emotional and academic demands of the Health and Social Care course demand a strong commitment and determination as well as excellent attendance, punctuality and health. The course will be made up of 8 units including 2 that will be optional units. 3 units will be externally assessed. Each student will complete two work experience placements where they will work within early years and the health and social care sector. Work placement is a mandatory requirement of the course.
