Assessment

Assessment involves written papers in both Human and Physical Geography which last 2 ½ hrs each, both taken at the end of the two year course. The NEA (nonexamined assessment), or coursework, is completed during Yr13 and is an investigation completely of the student’s own choosing which must be linked to a concept they have studied during the course. During the year students are assessed in a number of ways including practice exam questions, group presentations, individual research projects and team tasks.
