Assessment

A total of 6 hours of examinations (2 x 2 hours 15 minutes and 1 x 1 hour 30 minutes) taken at the end of the course. All exam papers will include a wide range of question types including multiple choice, short answer and extended response questions. Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge of both theory and practical skills through the examinations. Practical Endorsement - a separate grade (pass/fail) will be awarded for practical work carried out throughout the two years of the course as specified by OCR. This will be internally assessed by your teachers. Skills required for success: hard working, positive attitude, determination, ability to work independently, interest in reading around the subject to extend knowledge.
