Government and Politics

Course summary

Over the two year course students will develop a detailed understanding of the government and politics of the UK and the USA. They will also study a course on political ideas. A Level Government and Politics enables students to develop their critical thinking skills and enhance their ability to interpret, evaluate and comment on the nature of politics. A key skill central to the course is comparative analysis which encourages a deep level of analytical thinking.
