BTEC Level 3 Business

Course summary

The level 3 BTEC Nationals are designed as specialist qualifications for those who have a clear view of their future career or want to progress to higher education. The BTEC Extended Certificate in Business is equivalent to one A level and is highly valued by universities, higher education colleges and employers alike. You will need a lot of dedication and commitment to succeed as assessment is continuous throughout the two years. The BTEC Business course will provide you with an opportunity to gain a nationally recognised vocational qualification to enter employment in a range of business sections. The three core units will give learners an introduction to and understanding of: Exploring business, Developing a marketing campaign, Personal and Business Finance and a choice of optional units; including the Recruitment and selection process and Investigating customer service. The BTEC offers a range of optional units and, working with your teachers, the class will have some degree of choice over the topics you study.
