Statistics (A Level)

Entry Requirements

• GCSE Mathematics at grade 7 or above. If students have achieved GCSE Statistics at grade 5, then GCSE Mathematics grade 6 is required. Students are required to have secure knowledge in how to calculate summary statistics, how to create relevant graphs given a data set and how to interpret these. As such, a secure grade at GCSE Mathematics is required. GCSE Statistics is not a pre-requisite for this A Level, hence study of GCSE Statistics is preferable but NOT a requirement. A Level Statistics is a full A Level. It is not intended as a replacement for A Level Maths but to enhance further statistical studies.
