Assessment

You will be assessed by written examinations at the end of the two years and the investigative and practical skills will be assessed throughout the course. There are three written exams: - Paper 1 Advanced Biochemistry, Microbiology & Genetics – 1hr 45min, 30%, Topics 1 – 7, 90 marks - Paper 2 Advanced Physiology, Evolution & Ecology – 1hr 45min, 30%, Topics 1-4 & 8-10, 90 marks - Paper 3 General & practical principles in Biology – 2hr 30min, 40%, Topics 1-10, 120 marks.
