Course summary

This course is for any prospective student who is looking to obtain a license to practice in becoming a childcare practitioner at level 2 and develop their knowledge of caring for children for future training or employment, or has completed a relevant Level 1 qualification and is looking to progress onto Level 2. The aim of this qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding of babies and young children from birth to 7 years of age with applied knowledge in the early years, 0-5 years. The qualification content meets the Department for Education’s (DfE) Level 2 full and relevant criteria for a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner in the workforce. The course is a full time course which has both classroom learning and practical experience every week.
