Further Mathematics

Course summary

Further Mathematics will give you the opportunity to study all of the modules in A level Maths, covering a broad range which includes mechanics- the laws of force and motion; statistics- how are events related and what can we predict from this; decision maths- can we design algorithms to make certain decisions? All of the areas of maths will be extended further giving you a breadth and depth of mathematical knowledge preparing you for further study in maths or a related field. Course Content: Year 12 = A2 Mathematics (an A level in one year) Year 13 = (FP1, FP2 and 4 others from M1, M2, M3, S1, S2, D1, D2, FP3)
