Computing: Application Development Department: Computing & IT New course September 2025: Computing: Application Development Exam board: OCR Course: OCR Level 3 Alternative Academic Qualification Cambridge Advanced National in Computing: Application Development (Extended Certificate) About the course: The course will help students to develop knowledge, understanding and skills that will help prepare them for progression to undergraduate study when taken alongside other qualifications. Students will develop independence and confidence in using skills that are relevant to the ICT practitioners sector. They will develop the following transferable skills: Communicating effectively with individuals or groups, creativity, critical thinking and problem solving, independent learning, time management etc. that can be used in both higher education and other life and work situations. Modules/Units: Students will do a total of 5 units - 2 Exams, 1 Mandatory coursework and 2 optional coursework units.
