Course summary

Psychology is the scientific study of the human mind and behaviour. It is both a thriving academic discipline and a vital professional practice. Throughout this linear course, we focus on explaining cognitive processes like memory, psychopathology, which includes phobias and schizophrenia, and the biological basis for aggression and gender identity. We also examine the role of authority in obedience and other social influence processes that govern our world today.
