Course summary

In this course you will build on the knowledge, skills and understanding learnt during your GCSE Maths studies, as well as develop confidence in applications of mathematics, such as statistics and mechanics. A-Level Maths encourages students to develop confidence in mathematics and to recognise its importance in society and in their own lives. This qualification prepares students to make informed decisions about the use of technology, further learning opportunities and career choices. A-level maths will also support your learning in other subjects, such as physics, chemistry, and engineering
