Assessment

A Level Biology A comprises Modules 1-6, assessed by three written examinations, plus completion of 12 practical activities to show competency in practical skills. The practical component is graded pass/fail and does not contribute marks to the final grade but the skills will be assessed across the three written papers. Written Exams (around 60% of the grade). Non-Exam Assessments (NEA) or coursework (around 40%), depending on the subject.
