GCSE English Language is a mandatory course for students who haven't achieved a minimum grade of 4 at either GCSE English Language or Literature. This will be a class for a small number of students, building on the knowledge learnt in KS4.
3 Exam papers and 1 Speaking and Listening Non-examined Assessment. The qualification can be sat in both November and in the Summer series of exam. If students are re-sitting GCSE English, the Speaking and Listening grade can be carried forward.
