Enrichment Activities

Show all activities
At the Wren, our students have a wide range of events and opportunities to develop skills outside the standard curriculum. Wren 6 students have Wednesday afternoons to take part in Team Sports, make use of the on-site fitness studio in the recently installed equipment, learn Italian, develop life skills or relax with some creative projects in the Art department. Last year, we had students who learnt sign language. Students have the chance to study for and EPQ or Core Maths qualification.

Futures Fair: Inspiring Remarkable Futures
We host our annual Futures Fair each autumn term, an exciting and enriching event for students in Years 9 through to Wren Six. With over 30 stallholders in attendance—including sixth forms, colleges, universities, training providers, and a wide range of employers—the event offers an invaluable opportunity for students to explore their next steps and start shaping their future pathways. The Futures Fair is designed to help students make informed decisions about their education and career options, whether they’re considering further study, apprenticeships, vocational training, or entering the world of work. From local colleges to national employers, each stallholder provided insights, advice, and real-world knowledge to guide and inspire.
