Paper 1 – 35% of A level 2-hour, written paper covering the topics of Year 1: Biological molecules, Cells, Organisms and Genetic information. Paper 2 – 35% of A level 2-hour, written paper covering the topics of Year 2: Energy transfers in and between organisms, Organisms respond to changes in their internal and external environments, Genes. Paper 3 – 30% of A level 2-hour, written paper covering the topics of Year 1 and Year 2. Practical Requirement Completion of 12 required practical activities.
