Breadth Option - Creative Writing

Assessment

The course is linked to the Apprentice of Fine Arts (AFA) - Creative Writing. This is a Writer’s Examination Board AFA Qualification. Students will produce a Writing Portfolio (60% of the final assessment mark), and sit two examinations (40% of the final assessment mark). Regular writing, critically engaging with suggested reading and sharing/criticising your own writing form the heart of the course. This work will be published across the various school platforms and publications, and will be submitted for publication in a variety of publications and magazines.
