Course summary

Maths provides you with transferable skills that are extremely useful in any career. These include analytical thinking, problem-solving, investigating problems and presenting solutions logically, handling and interpreting data, and forming and communicating ideas. Maths is a highly-credible qualification, however, the choice of this subject for A-level should also be because you like maths and enjoy the challenge of solving number and logic puzzles. There is a great deal of emphasis on problem-solving, reasoning, and modeling.
