Course summary

BTEC Level 3 Music Performance will extend and develop your ability to communicate through the medium of music. It will do this by developing your musical skills and knowledge, to help you become a more confident and accomplished performer of music with a broad range of knowledge of the Music Industry. Whilst studying Music, you will be encouraged to work creatively and will have the opportunity to both learn about and apply music technology for both composition work and performances. Music can lead to specific careers in broadcasting, sound engineering, composing, production and arts administration. It also develops professionalism, communication skills, problem-solving ability and creativity, which are necessary in many careers. The course is highly practical with opportunities to learn from external professionals within the industry.
