"The A-Level English Language assessment includes: Paper 1: Language, the Individual, and Society Covers textual variations, representations, and child language development. Assessed by a 2-hour 30-minute exam, worth 40% of the A-level. Paper 2: Language Diversity and Change Focuses on language diversity, change, and discourse. Assessed by a 2-hour 30-minute exam, also 40% of the A-level. Non-Exam Assessment: Language in Action Students complete a language investigation and original writing.
