"Assessment is a combination of internal coursework and external examinations, ensuring students develop both academic and practical skills. Externally Assessed Units (Units 1 & 2): Written examinations set and marked by Pearson. These exams assess students’ understanding of human development, care settings, and professional responsibilities. Internally Assessed Units (Unit 3 & Optional Unit): Coursework-based assessment, including assignments, case studies, and practical tasks. Focuses on applying knowledge to real-world scenarios."
