GCSE Business Studies

Course summary

This course equips students with the knowledge of how to run their own business and/or work in one. It provides students with an exciting opportunity to understand the commercial world including how finance is raised and used by various stakeholders and the conflicts that can arise because of this. The course enables students to apply business theory to various situations taken from the ‘real world’. There are various Business Studies trips that take place so students can investigate businesses and see theory in practice. Trips in 2019 have included Purbeck ice-cream and Farmer Palmers.
