Course summary

Why this programme? Studying the Employability Programme will help you to increase your self-awareness, confidence, communication skills and leaderships skills. It will allow you to develop the skills required for working with children which are useful for a multitude of job roles. It will allow an opportunity to re-sit GCSE English and Maths or take an alternative of Functional Skills in these subjects. Work experience is also available to enrich the student’s skillset in the workplace and increase likelihood of future employment. Student profile The Employability Programme is designed for students who are a grade 2 or 3 and therefore are below the requirements for Level 3 Sixth Form courses. This programme is at Level 2 and is designed to build the students GCSE profile to enable them to access Apprenticeships or further study if appropriate.
