Have you got an interest in the news and how the government and its policies affect your life? If the answer is yes to any of these questions, then you might want to choose Business Studies. Business and commerce relate to the buying and selling of goods, services and information; important exchanges in almost any area of life. As the world becomes more dependent on globalised trade and investment, the demand for well-trained businesspeople grows stronger. Business is particularly relevant if you want to work in the human resources, marketing or the finance department of either a small or large business. Students must have good numeracy skills and be committed to learning and revision of the topics, they need to work well in teams and have good communication and presentation skills.
