Assessment

At the end of the two years for A Level, there are three, 2 hour exams. There is no assessed coursework but at least 15% of the marks in the papers are based on practical skills and at least 10% of the marks in the papers are based on maths skills. You will also take a separate endorsement of practical skills. 12 required practicals will give you the opportunity to develop the skills needed to investigate the way living things work and behave. The endorsement will be assessed by your teachers.
