This is a linear course comprising of two themes taught over 2 years: Theme 1: Introduction to Small Business Theme 2: Building A Business The content for both themes is broken down as follows: Theme 1: This is a 90-minute paper that consists of multiple choice, calculation, short-answer and extended-writing questions. There are three sections in this paper. Each section is ramped, starting with multiple choice questions, moving to short answer questions and ending with extended writing. Sections B and C are based on real life, relevant business contexts and examples. Theme 2: This is also a 90-minute paper that consists of multiple choice, calculation, short-answer and extended-writing questions. There are three sections in this paper. Each section is ramped, starting with multiple choice questions, moving to short answer questions and ending with extended writing. Sections B and C are based on real life, relevant business contexts and examples. Both papers are equally weighed at 50% and are sat in the summer of Year 11.
