Assessment

Four units for the Extended Certificate, three of which are mandatory and one that is optional. Year 1 and 2 . Students will study the designated units required over two years. The mandatory units are: • Unit 1: Human Lifespan Development • Unit 2: Human Biology and Health • Unit 3: Principles of Health and Social Care Practice The Optional Unit is: • Unit 5: Promoting Health Education This course is assessed by a mixture of internal controlled assessments and external examinations.
