What will I study in year 12? We will study the framework for Media Studies, including but not limited to, media language, representation, industry, and audience. We will look at the Component 1 set texts: · Tide · Kiss of the Vampire · Super. Human. Tokyo. · The Times · Daily Mirror · Janelle Monae · Sam Fender · I Daniel Blake · Black Panther · Have You Heard of George’s Podcast? · Assassin’s Creed. What will I study in Year 13? We will complete our coursework briefs; this involves creating a cross-media production set of pieces based on a chosen brief. Meanwhile also studying the Component 2 set texts: · Black Mirror · The Returned · Vogue · The Big Issue · KSI · Attitude.
