Art: Textiles

Course summary

A level Textiles is a practical and creative course in which students will explore traditional and contemporary fashion and textiles. Students will work with a variety of materials and techniques, printing, heat transfer techniques, fabric manipulation, weaving, machine and hand embroidery, dying, embellishing, traditional and non-traditional materials plastic and paper. Students who choose this course will benefit from a stimulating practical form of expression which provides distinctive skills and experience for life, work and further studies.
