Unsure what route to take? Our friendly School Liaison Team are at every Open Evening and are the perfect people to talk to if you’re not sure which pathway is for you.

They are experts in helping you identify whether A Levels, Vocational, T Levels or an Apprenticeship is the route which suits you best.

Support is on hand to help you register for our amazing BC Programmes where you can get a taste of what your future subject will be like. It’s a way of getting an early taste of college life, you can apply for as many programmes as you like and make your final choices later.

We recommend allowing at least an hour for your visit.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are under 16, you MUST be accompanied by an adult to attend our Open Evening.

Our open events are available to everybody and are particularly for those students looking to start their sixth form studies in September 2026.

We have a wide range of A-level, Entry Level, Vocational and T-Level courses to choose from. We also have Learning For Life (SEND) courses.

The Open Evening will include:

The Goldsmiths Institute Drop in afternoon.

Interested in exploring the options for studying at The Goldsmith's Institute with our Jewellery and Business course.  Come and meet the team, and students in action. Explore the work and content of the T-Level in Jewellery (Craft and design)
Aston University Goldsmith's Institute now entering its third year is a specialist Sixth Form provision for students who want to learn creative skills, solve problems, and gain real-world industry experience. The Institute offers the UK’s first Jewellery T Level, developed with leading employers. This is not just about jewellery shops. It is a major manufacturing sector, with clear routes into apprenticeships and careers. Students can be creative and innovative while learning modern technology such as CAD, 3D printing and materials science – combined with traditional handmaking techniques that go back thousands of years.
This is a unique chance for you to come and learn about options to train in a state-of-the-art environment, learn from industry experts, and step into apprenticeships and high-value roles in one of Birmingham’s most important and exciting industries.  Come and find out more.
