Welcome to Eastbury Community School Sixth Form Application

Thank you for considering Eastbury Community School Sixth Form as the next step in your educational journey. Our Sixth Form is dedicated to providing an inclusive, inspiring, and ambitious environment where every student is supported to achieve their full potential.

At Eastbury, we offer a broad range of A-Levels, outstanding teaching, and excellent facilities to ensure you are well-prepared for your future, whether that’s university, apprenticeships, or the world of work. Our vibrant community fosters personal growth, independence, and leadership, helping you to thrive both academically and personally. 

Our Sixth Form students achieve highly, not only in their academic studies but also in preparing for their post-18 aspirations and embracing a wide range of enrichment opportunities.

At Eastbury, we aim for every student to be a high performer in all they do. Our Sixth Form embodies these high-performance principles.

Our results in 2025 saw an improvement on 2024 in all areas showing the academic improvements in the Sixth Form, with subjects like Sociology, History, Art, Craft and Design, Politics, Computer Science and Further Maths all exceeding the national average for their results. Our destinations for our student included many top universities such Kings College, Imperial, UCL, Queen Mary, Nottingham, Durham, Exter and Bristol with a record number of students going on to study Medicine. 

We also have an extensive career and enrichment programme. We aim  to nurture and guide our students beyond their studies and give them effective support to begin their professional careers and join the wider world and we ensure each student as access to:

  • Work placement opportunities​
  • University Campas Tours and Open Days
  • Expert guidance on UCAS
  • Preparation for interviews​
  • Development of core employability skills
  • Opportunities to join societies and complete a variety of extra curricular activities. 

 

We also have a partnership with Sydney Russell, Jo Richardson and Riverside. Students may pick one subject from one of those Sixth Forms if we don't run it or subject cominations don't work

Overall, at Eastbury Sixth Form, we don’t just prepare students for exams — we prepare them for life, ensuring every young person leaves us with the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed in whatever path they choose
