Welcome to Springhallow School

I am proud to lead this school of dedicated professionals to make a difference in the lives of the children and young people with Autism that make up our school community. Every day is important and we are striving to enable all pupils with the skills and abilities they need for their next steps in their education and future lives. We are proud of the close working relationships between staff, parents and professionals to provide and enhance opportunities for all pupils. Visits to both of our sites can be arranged by appointment only at one of our regular visitor sessions. If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact the School Office.Matthew Sartin,Head Teacher

All students across all three pathways will embed life skills throughout the curriculum. This will offer students the chance to learn and practise skills that they need for independent living depending on their current abilities. Topics covered can include things like: using money, telling time, personal hygiene, health & fitness, cooking and travel training. Part of the work is done in class but regular trips into the local community give students the opportunity to practise these skills in real life situations.
