Welcome Message
St Philomena’s Sixth Form welcomes students who are committed to succeed. Applications are welcome from students who are not Catholic but wish to join our vibrant learning community. Our students are encouraged to be ambitious and to have high aspirations. We actively encourage them to take a lead role in their education and develop their learning whilst maturing into confident, resilient, resourceful young women able to face any challenge.
Our school motto is from Psalm 127, ‘Unless the Lord build the house, they labour in vain who build it’. Christ is at the heart of all we do; the rich liturgical life of the school is celebrated in a variety of ways.

Employed
I was a student at St Philomena’s myself from 2010-2017 and went on to Bournemouth University graduating in 2020. Once graduating I began working as a qualified Physiotherapist at East Surrey Hospital. Having struggled with making a career choice when I was at school, I am now practising Physiotherapy as a career. I am also an alumnae volunteer helping with Careers events guiding and mentoring current students on University, and the transition from University to Physiotherapy a career.
