Welcome Message

Our Sixth Form is an important link between school life and adult life. We believe that our Sixth Formers are young adults and therefore afford them certain entitlements: They have a Sixth Form Common Room complete with kitchen, TV, lockers and study area, and they are not expected to wear school uniform and are sometimes given time on the timetable for independent study.

Why join our sixth form?

Not every learner feels ready to leave school and go to college or into other training,  or to start work in a job. Some learners chose to stay at Braidwood to improve their qualifications as well  as to develop their personal, social and work related skills.

Learners can choose to stay for 1 or 2 years.

Braidwood School promises to help learners develop fully as young adults.

What did you do when you left college? Went to Wolverhampton University and studied Event and Venue Management. How did you get into Youth Project Officer? I did some volunteering a few years ago, gaining experiences, training and applied for this job. I practice to do well in interviews (I am terrified of interviews!).
