Halesbury School

We provide specialist support for our post 16 learners with ASD diagnosis and additional needs in Key Stage Five. We believe learning should be fun and active; we tailor our activities to interest and motivate our learners. We want our learners to enjoy coming in to school and to enjoy their days. We work towards enabling our learners to be as independent as possible as young adults

If your child is in Post 16 at Halesbury they will access core subjects taught at a functional level. In addition, our curriculum focuses on emotional health and wellbeing, being active, social and communication skills, life skills, and being part of the local community.

We offer a combination of onsite and offsite lessons allowing our students to experience the world of work. We follow the ASDAN program and it is tailored specifically towards our learner's individual needs.
