Welcome to Allerton High School
Headteacher’s MessageAt Allerton High, our core purpose is ‘enabling young people to achieve success.’ We want all students to achieve the best they can, become independent learners and acquire the skills and qualities they will need to be successful in an ever-changing world. We want them to feel valued and to be happy and confident. We work in close partnership with our community, parents/carers and governors to achieve this ideal and to deliver what we consider to be a first class education. We value: hard work, kindness, perseverance, aspiration, service to others, courtesy, honesty and tolerance. As such, we ask all members of our community to: Be Kind, Work Hard, Challenge Yourself. We are:inclusive as we will never choose which students to work withambitious because we always want the best for everyone in our communitycollaborative as we recognise that our partners make us stronger. In recent years, examination results have been impressively strong. Our students achieve well above local and national averages at both GCSE and A Level in terms of what they attain and most importantly, the progress they make is exceptional.Allerton High is a caring school that combines a genuine interest in the individual with a desire to develop all members of the community. We do this by creating a supportive environment for learning and insisting on the highest standards of behaviour. We are proud of our state-of-the-art building, fully equipped with ICT and flexible learning spaces. We are equally impressed with the dynamic contributions our young people make to the continuing success of Allerton High.I love being Headteacher here and I hope you will feel as passionate about Allerton High once you have visited.Mrs E Silson
