Politics and Sociology

“What I particularly liked about continuing my Sixth Form studies at St Paul’s was the fact that attending the school prior to the Sixth Form facilitated a rapport between myself and my teachers. I felt like I had more of a say in terms of what learning styles worked best for me, who to contact for support, and which resources were available to me. I felt like I was already an established member of the St. Paul’s community.”

Having gained A in Politics and A* in Sociology, English Language
and Literature and her EPQ, Maureen is currently studying Politics
and Sociology at the University of Warwick.

“Looking back at my early time in St Paul’s, it was clear the network of support available to me was second to none. This support extended through my A Levels and made me a much more academically competent person. I really feel I was treated more as a peer than a student.”

Callum achieved A* in Mathematics, Design Engineering and
his EPQ and A in Physics and is studying Aerospace Engineering
at the University of Manchester. He has already signed up for his
Masters degree.

“I did better than I expected as I found the exams quite hard and the A* in English was a surprise. I’ve loved being at St Paul’s and I’m really glad I stayed on for Sixth Form here. The teachers have been really supportive and it is a very special place.”

Jessica is studying History at the University of Liverpool having
gained an A* in English Literature and As in Economics and History.
