Enrichment Activities
Show all activitiesAt Mountjoy we aim for our pupils to be as ready as possible for their next stage in life. For some, this may include having the opportunity to live independently or co-habit. Therefore, some pupils learn how to cook, shop, clean and budget; alongside sharing facilities, working together and developing empathy, kindness and a willingness to support and celebrate one another.
Having a career is not just about “getting a job”. It is about how we help you to build all of those skills you are going to need for the future. Things like teamwork, communication, decision making, self-esteem and confidence. These are all really important skills to have as you move into your adult life.
