Welcome to Chailey Heritage School

For over 120 years, our Ofsted Outstanding school has brought life-changing opportunities to more than a thousand children and young people.

A place to learn, play and explore!

Each child and young person should have every opportunity to explore what's possible - no matter the challenges. That’s why our expert multi-disciplinary team of highly trained teachers, therapists, technologists and specialist education assistants nurture the potential of every child and young person we work with.

Our CHILD Curriculum puts each student at the centre of their own educational journey. Our partnership with on-site NHS colleagues, ensures we provide the very best provision of treatment and care to every young person, so parents and carers can have total peace of mind.

Enrichment Activities

Although we are a non-educational centre, we offer skills-focused sessions. These support you to learn new skills while having fun at the same time!

Cooking sessions

Cook up a storm using a range of accessible kitchen equipment and switches. You’ll participate fully in the whole cooking process – from measuring, preparing and selecting ingredients, to cooking and discovering the excitement that food can bring. Afterwards, take your finished goodies home to share and enjoy with your family or friends.

Assistive technology

Join our exciting assistive technology gaming sessions, or develop your Eye Gaze or switch skills to operate a range of devices independently. A whole new, exciting world awaits!

Patchwork Farm

Get outdoors in nature and help out on Patchwork Farm. You can help feed and groom the donkeys, or guinea pigs, or help to clean the animal enclosures.
