Welcome to Lonsdale School

Post 16/Upper School provides opportunities for students to develop their "Learning for Life" before transitioning into further education. We offer a range of different study routes depending upon each learner’s capabilities. As part of the Post 16 curriculum students continue to access Swimming/PE, and also take part in Young Enterprise.  Work related learning allows our students to run their own business with support from a business advisor. See our work related learning page for more information.

In Post 16/Upper School, our experienced staff support both parents and students as they head towards leaving school. We work closely with our local colleges and Careers Advisor to provide taster days facilitating a smooth transition.
